Users are experiencing problems logging in with internet explorer 7.  Here’s a workaround:

From the main forum page, right click the ‘login’ link and choose either ‘open in a new tab’ or ‘open in a new window’.

Then, log in.

That, or ditch that IE7 POS and use Firefox. I’m a simple man, with a simple plan.

How much does regular no-see-um weigh per squar yard?
And how much does the nanoseeum weigh?
Thanks for your time.

No problem EZ-DOES-IT.

Regular noseeum weighs around 1.1 oz finished weight.  Nanoseeum comes in at 0.7 oz finished weight.

After carrying both for 2 years I have stopped carrying standard noseeum.  There have been a total of zero reports of failure of nanoseeum in any application.

ACYE
Is the weight you posted for a square yard?
I am thinking of getting 2 square yards for under my 9’ X 7’ sil-nylon tarp.
As usual thank you for your time.

Yes, 0.7 is the finished weight per square yard.  The material is sold by continuous linear yard by the roll width.

I was having trouble logging in until I changed the cookie settings under Tools-> internet options-> privacy tab-> sites….

If I allowed cookies from thru-hiker.com it didn’t work.

I had to allow cookies from the IP address that came with activation e-mail to get it to work:

*edit* - i’m using windowsXP - internet explorer 6.0
