Sorry if this is redundant. I search and couldn’t find what I was looking for.

Making the Minima Vest here’s the question.

When stacking the material to cut out, the shell obviously goes right side up. The insulation makes no difference.

Question:

Which side up for the lining??? Does the right side of the lining go next to the insulation or next to the body????

Soooo ..... is it

shell - right side up
Lining - wrong side up?

Or

Shell right side up and
Lining right side up????

Hi Geron-

The right side of the fabric is visible—for the lining this means against the body—and the wrong side is against the insulation.  Or, if you’re stack cutting them the thing to remember is that the shell and liner are wrong-sides together.  IE: shell right-side up, liner wrong-side up (this is wrong-sides together)

For the momentum, it’s easy to identify the wrong shiny side and the right matte side.  For the 1.1 it can be hard to tell the difference.  The right-side/wrong-side in this case is purely cosmetic, so if you can’t tell there’s no problem with either way.
