There’s a 2nd run of the well received Dyneema X in the works.  I’m interested in hearing what color people want.  Do you want to stick with the middle grey, black, etc.  What do you think of the brown/green color attached below?

Also, remaining stock of the original run is in short supply.  Avoid disappointment and get some now or wait the many months it will take for the new batch to come in.  Other than (possibly) color, the new stock will be identical to what’s on hand.

Black or grey is rather neutral and works with everything.

Can you stock more than one colour?

How about 100% Dyneema fabric? (or a higher Dyneema content, like 3/16” grid?)

Off topic, but will the 3D mesh ever return to stock?

Cheers.

One vote for black or grey!  Thanks for the input.  I would suggest picking up the grey now if you don’t have some just in case the final decision is for a different color.

RE more than one color:  unfortunately the cost of multiple dyelots is prohibitive, so one color it is.  If demand is sufficient, multiple colors might become an option.
RE 100% dyneema:  the economics of stocking 100% dyneema don’t work for thru-hiker.  Higher dyneema content is something about which I’d have to check with the mill.

3D mesh:  Yes, there is a new run in the works and it will be back in stock within a month or two.

I like orange, brown, yellow. I’d live to see some fabrics (momentum90)  in PMS orange 021 or PMS 1559.

Take a look at this site it’s good to use for color reference as PMS is some what of a standard.

+1 black/grey.

Not really all that into the muddy green colors. If it were more like the arcteryx wasabi, or a lighter lime, maybe. Green is a hard color to make look good I think.

AYCE, I like the new color. +1 there

I’m a fan of the olive or tan shades (anything earthy colored like that) primarily due to the fact that I use Dyneema solely for pack construction. However, I’m with the other poster in that I do have a soft spot for orange!

I also would like to see the smaller grid (3/16”) Dyneema as well. I’ve got a McHale Zero SARC made from that and it is fantastic! Can’t find that stuff anywhere now . . .

Really like the RED that GoLite is using.  Skurka took some photos from his Hayduke Grand Canyon hike with it, and I have to say the bright color really makes for great photos.  A nice deep rich orange would be nice too.  As long as we can keep the gray option as well.

black/grey is fine, but an olive drab wouldn’t be bad either, or a dark green color.

I like camo & other earthy tones. It enables you too stealth camp better than the bright oranges. Black and gray are always good, but I’ll give my vote for the green as well!
