This might seems a stupid question but just to be sure.

What is the difference between “Silicone Impregnated Nylon” and “Breathable Nylon” you have.

As stated, Breathable Nylon is for shells, ultralight quilts and sleeping bags.
Does this means Silicone Impregnated Nylon is for packs and tarps?

I guess Silicone Impregnated is much more impermeable (rain) than Breathable Nylon (splashing). Is that correct?

Another topic. About your quilt kit. Does the Momentum90 option means a 2.5 yd ripstop piece and a 2.5 yd taffeta piece?

Thank you

RE coated and breathable:  Yes, you’ve got it correct.  Also, with regards to water repellence (splash), Momentum is a better choice than 1.1 breathable as it has a high quality DWR.

RE quilt kit:  Yes, that’s right- 2.5 yds MR (the mini-ripstop) and 2.5 yds T (the taffeta) if you choose a color for the shell and black for the liner.  If you choose a color for the liner you’d get MR instead of T because the taffeta is only available in black.

For all momentum kits, the default choice is black momentum-T on the liner.  Taffetas work really well as a liner because they are very smooth and comfortable feeling against the skin.  I’d be happy to make a substitution for a color in Momentum-MR for any of the kits, though, if you’d like that.
