I am wondering how to calculate the weight of fabric…

If I have a piece of fabric that weighs 1.25 oz / yd2, and my piece of fabric is 4 feet x 5 feet, does that mean the weight of the fabric would be 2.78 ounces?

4 x 12” = 48”
5 x 12” = 60”
48” / 36” = 1.33 yards
60” / 36” = 1.67 yards
1.33 yards x 1.66 yards = 2.22 yd2
2.22 x 1.25 = 2.78 ounces

Thanks, and sorry about the dumb question! ;)
